Arkham Horror Remastered has opened on Gamefound, with a US$70 base-game pledge, a US$350 bundle containing five expansions, and delivery estimated for December 2027. The campaign launched on 21 October 2026 and reached its US$300,000 goal in 17 minutes and 50 seconds, according to its live page.
These are the practical details missing when we reported the crowdfunding date in September. The new offer lets prospective backers compare the core game with the larger collection and budget for costs beyond the displayed pledge.
At a glance
- The US$70 Arkham Reborn pledge includes the base game and unlocked stretch goals and daily rewards.
- The US$350 Gameplay Bundle adds all five expansions; miniatures are a separate product.
- Delivery is estimated for December 2027. Shipping and applicable taxes are additional costs.
What the pledges include
The live Gamefound campaign lists Arkham Reborn at US$70, Gameplay Bundle at US$350, and the Investigator Miniatures Set at US$90. The miniatures reward alone does not include the actual stretch goals. Each expansion is also listed individually at US$60.
The five expansion boxes are Dunwich Horror, Kingsport Horror, Innsmouth Horror, Cosmic Horror and Miskatonic Horror. In its 15 October preview, Fantasy Flight explains that Cosmic Horror combines four classic expansions. It also cautions that the arrangement of content may differ from the original releases.
That distinction helps explain why five remastered boxes should not be compared simply by counting the expansion titles in an older collection.
The second-edition design returns
This is a remaster of the 2005 second-edition board game. Investigators cooperate to close supernatural gates and prevent an Ancient One from overwhelming Arkham. Fantasy Flight describes the underlying gameplay as unchanged, while artwork, graphic design and rulebook presentation have been overhauled.
The publisher highlights new Upkeep symbols as reminders of effects that must be resolved at the start of a round. The base game contains 16 investigators, each with different abilities and attributes. It supports one to eight players; the campaign lists an approximately three-hour playing time and ages 14 and above.
Budget beyond the pledge
Shipping will be calculated and collected through the pledge manager after the campaign. Applicable taxes are charged separately. The listed December 2027 fulfilment date is an estimate, and arrivals may differ between regions.
Readers should therefore compare the full delivered cost before choosing between the core pledge, expansion bundle and optional miniatures. Funding a campaign is also a different commitment from buying a game already on a shop shelf.
